Photographing in an editorial style, the dysphoric features of the well-documented mental-health condition, Bipolar Disorder, are layed out in images and explained in text. In the first spread, the viewer is confronted with the usual dichotomy the condition presents as, but folds out into into a long-exposure strobe photograph that personifies the “rapid-cycling” state of the condition. This project aims to foster empathy and spark curiosity about the experiences of those walking through life with challenges different than ours.
